The 8 steps
1. Technical Office
From a simple idea to concrete realization, from a single concept to the final sample: Imballi’s technical office is equipped to develop and implement every type of paperboard structure, providing quick responses. The available tools allow for immediate creation of drawings and prototypes to be shared with the client in real time.
2. Prepress
Our prepress department, managed by highly experienced technical staff, is equipped with state-of-the-art specialized equipment that takes every job from the graphic file to plates (produced in-house) and printing. It also handles the photolithography process.
3. Printing
To ensure the highest quality printing combined with the flexibility demanded by today’s market, our printing department has been further enhanced with significant investments. The new production lines guarantee optimal offset printing on any type of paperboard support, with various types of coatings, in very short turnaround times.
4. Ondulatore
For more durable packaging and displays, we utilize 3 in-line corrugators with 2 bonders, allowing us to create any type of carton specification using entirely internal processes. Starting from individual papers, which are always available in our warehouse, we ensure a seamless production flow. One line is consistently available for single-ply corrugation, while the other is dedicated to the “triple” corrugation. All variables are closely monitored and automatically controlled to ensure flawless bonding.
5. Die-cutting
Le linee fustellatrici e la progettazione interna delle fustelle assicurano la massima flessibilità nella realizzazione di display, fustellati industriali o espositori, di qualsiasi tipo e dimensione.
6. Folding and Gluing
Il reparto piegaincolla è dotato di macchine e attrezzature di ultima tecnologia per incollare qualsiasi tipo di scatola, dagli astucci in teso e accoppiato di piccole dimensioni alle scatole di grande formato composte da due o tre parti. La finestratrice, di grande formato, e altre attrezzature di supporto permettono l’inserimento e l’applicazione di altri elementi all’interno delle confezioni.
7. Packaging
A dedicated in-house department and a selected network of subcontractors enable us to handle all gluing and packaging needs for any display medium.
8. Logistics
The storage of raw materials on rolls, supported by a constant supply and our internal cutting center, always ensures maximum flexibility and availability for fast production of any scale. The automated mobile shelf warehouse with over 20,000 pallet positions, available to our clients, enables material storage and efficient retrieval management planning.
What about waste?
Paper gives us the opportunity to do extraordinary things. That’s why, in addition to using certified sources, we employ specialized technologies to compact and recover any discarded materials from each production phase. By delivering these materials to local recycling facilities, paper and cardboard are transformed into reusable resources, taking on new forms in the circular economy.
Packaging

Imballi creates both countertop and floor displays through careful study of the products to be showcased and the available space.

We offer dedicated structures for point of sale marketing, including totems, roll-ups, stoppers, shaped panels, shelf headers, stands, counters, and floor stands.
